In March of 2017, I began an ethnographic study of the relationship between my mother (Ruby Clyde) and I, but specifically focused on and thought about the idea of trauma being passed in the blood. The first two parts are written essays, each focusing on Ruby and I individually. The Echo, is a collection of the notes/findings/questions/answers that are really just more questions, gathered from the first two parts, but it also expands and furthers the study.
Here's a teasa'. And a few stills.
